Children's Privacy Notice
TNT AI ("Think. Navigate. Thrive.") is a free companion app for children under 13. This notice describes what data we collect from your child, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights as a parent.
Data we collect from your child
- Account: a username and the email used to create the account.
- Chat and journal entries: the words your child types to the AI companion and in their private journal.
- Mood check-ins: how your child says they are feeling.
- Creative work: drawings, goals, and ideas your child saves.
- Optional uploads: photos or files, only if you consent to uploads.
How we use it
- To provide the AI companion chat, mood tracking, journaling, and creative tools.
- To screen messages for credible safety concerns (self-harm, abuse, grooming, dangerous activity) and send you a brief, non-graphic summary if a concern is flagged — only if you consent to safety notifications.
- To improve the app. We do not sell your child's data or use it for targeted ads.
Service providers who process your child's data
- Persona (withpersona.com): verifies your identity as the parent or guardian. Persona collects a government ID and selfie for verification only. TNT AI does not store the ID document or selfie — only the verification result.
- AI language model providers: process your child's chat and journal text to generate responses. These providers may retain data per their own policies.
- Google Drive / Google Calendar: only if your child (with your permission) exports content or sets reminders to your connected account.
Disclosures
We do not share your child's personal data with third parties for their own marketing. We may share data if required by law or to protect a child's safety.
Retention
Your child's data is kept while the account is active. You can request deletion at any time (see Parent Rights below), and we will delete it within 30 days.
Security
Data is stored securely with row-level access controls. A child's private chat and journal are NOT visible to parents by default. Only brief safety-alert summaries are shared, and only with your consent.
Parent rights
- Review the information we hold about your child.
- Withdraw consent and revoke your child's access at any time.
- Request deletion of your child's data.
- See which devices or accounts are connected.

This notice is separate from the Parent Agreement. Verifiable parental consent is required before we collect any personal information from your child.
